The Welsh Refugee Council is recruiting for a Play Development Worker, to manage and supervise the day to day operation of the project based in Cardiff and Newport.

Details of the role:

Job Title:             Play Development Worker

Reporting to:     Chief Executive Officer

Scale & Salary:  £11,440 + 5% pension (£20,020 pro rata)

Term:                  Fixed Term until March 2022

Hours:                20 hours per week

Location:           Cardiff 

The main purpose of the role is as follows:

·       Responsible for: Play Assistant, Volunteers, student and work experience placements. Responsibility will include involvement in recruitment, training and development of staff.

·       Budget Responsibilities: Manage BBC Children in Need allocated budget and produce corresponding annual reports to illustrate appropriate use of funds.
